Project overview
Mayflex is a leading distributor and manufacturer specialising in infrastructure, networking, and IP security solutions, driven by a relentless commitment to deliver more. To further empower their employees for success, the company recently invested in a comprehensive office fit out. They expresses their desire to improve the look and feel of their existing 7000 sqft offices in Birmingham and wanted it to be a space to feel, calm, light, open and a have modern ‘high tech’ look and feel. As well as this have dedicated areas were needed for meetings and quiet zones but with logical flow and consistency in design and layout. During the project we completed 2D space plans, mood boards and 3D visuals.
What we did
During the project, we developed visuals to bring the concept to life. The scope of works included a full office design and fit out solution in Birmingham, interior design and mood board sign-off, full CDM F10 HSE notification and compliant project management, and delivery across two phases. The work also included a strip-out of the old office, installation of glazed partitions and feature graphics, creation of a ‘Meeting Village’ with dedicated kitchen facilities, large breakout zones with feature soft seating, full electrical installations, and modifications to the existing HVAC system.
Richard and the ACI team made the whole process from design to completion an easy and exciting project for us. The design work really helped us to visualise how the space would look and work for us, which also helped getting the Cap Ex approved! The 2 phases helped us to internally manage any disruption which was kept to a minimum. Nothing was a problem, tremendous thought went into ensuring the brief was covered and beyond, and we love our new working environment.
