Complete Nottingham Office Refurbishment for Videojet Technologies

Videojet Technologies is a longstanding ACI client, so this office refurbishment of their Nottingjam ground floor was as much about trust as transformation.

The Brief

The brief was simple. Turn a tired, compartmentalised layout into a bright, contemporary workspace that reflects the Videojet Technologies brand.

Working in a live office, Advanced Commercial Interiors stripped the space back and reimagined it. A striking boardroom, an open and welcoming main office, a social breakout with pool table, and a fresh tea point.

The result is a workspace that finally matches the calibre of the company within.

Main Office Works

New solid office partitioning redefines the floorplan, carving out purposeful zones while keeping sightlines open and the space feeling light and connected.

A crisp white suspended ceiling and edge-lit halo LED lighting puts the office in an even, comfortable brightness, while commercial carpet tiles bring a quiet warmth underfoot. Freshdecoration throughout lifts the entire scheme.

Brand graphics and a new entrance logo sign give the space persoanlity and a real sense of arrival. Turning a functional office into an environment that feels considered, modern and unmistakenly Videojet.

Boardroom

A charcoal oak slatted timber panel anchors the boardroom, framing the screen and adding warmth and texture against a dramatic black suspended ceiling.

Halo LED pendants cast a soft, focused glow across the table, balancing boardroom formality with a contemporary calm. Underfoot, Shaw Contract carpet planks ground the scheme in rich, tactile tone.

A write-on vinyl wall, neatly framed in powder-coated aluminium, keeps ideas flowing for the important conversations that happen within this room.

Space Planning

Good design starts with a considered plan, and this scheme was resolved from the gorund up. ACI produced a full coordinated drawing set:

  • General Arrangement
  • Partition Setting-Out
  • Ceiling and Lighting
  • Mechanical and Electrical

So every detail was agreed on paper long before a wall went up.

The result makes the most of the footprint: A thirteen-person boardroom, a generous breakout seating twenty-eight, a social pool area and a well-appointed tea point. New partitions were carefully set out around existing structiral columns, keepnig circulation natural and every zone purposeful, open and easy to move through.
