Leviat Office Fit Out and Welfare Refurbishment

Advanced Commercial Interiors was appointed to deliver a full office fit-out and welfare refurbishment for Leviat at their Sheffield premises. The project covered approximately 300 sqm across two floors, with works carried out over a five-month programme and a project value of £400,000.

The existing office and welfare areas were no longer suitable for the needs of Leviat’s construction and industrial manufacturing environment. The refurbishment focused on creating a more practical, durable and modern workplace, with upgraded offices, meeting spaces, WC facilities, changing areas, tea points, decorations, furniture and a relocated entrance.

Leviat required a complete refurbishment of their existing office and welfare spaces to improve both the appearance and functionality of the building. The brief included new workplace areas, improved staff and customer facilities, upgraded washrooms, changing rooms, modern furniture and finishes that would be suitable for a busy manufacturing environment.

A key part of the project was ensuring the new spaces were hard-wearing and future-proofed. This included the use of safety flooring, hygienic wall cladding, durable doors and practical finishes throughout the welfare areas, while the office areas needed to feel cleaner, brighter and more aligned with Leviat’s brand.

ACI completed a phased internal office fit-out and office refurbishment project across the ground and first floors, including partitioning, wall linings, suspended ceilings, decoration, flooring, electrical works, mechanical works, WC upgrades, tea points and new furniture. The ground floor offices were finished with commercial-grade LVT, while the welfare and WC areas incorporated safety vinyl, hygienic cladding, new cubicles, sanitaryware and IPS panelling.

The works also included new oak veneer doors, updated skirting, painted windows, blue door frames and skirting to reflect Leviat’s brand, plus new desking, meeting furniture, storage, lockers and changing room benches. On the first floor mezzanine welfare area, ACI also worked with the health and safety team to carry out sound testing and install a jumbo wall to create a suitable sound barrier for staff.

The completed refurbishment has transformed Leviat’s Sheffield workplace into a cleaner, more durable and better organised environment for both office-based teams and manufacturing staff. The new production office, meeting areas, corridors, washrooms and changing facilities now provide a consistent, modern finish throughout the building.

The final design uses a practical monochrome scheme, with blue detailing to tie the space back to Leviat’s brand. Durable flooring, hygienic cladding, upgraded welfare facilities and new furniture have helped create a future-proofed workplace that is better suited to the demands of a busy industrial setting.
