This week, the team at aci have been very busy starting works on the strip out phase of a new site in Cambridge, making the site ready for us to fit-out the showroom for our long-standing customer. This is one of the largest projects of the year for us and we are looking forward to getting out teeth into the project.
The project involves completely stripping out the internals of the property, including the plumbing, plasterboard ceiling, partitioning, balustrade and flooring and even the existing air conditioning units! The team can then start work on installing the new internals of the building, including alterations to the existing mezzanine floor, ceiling, glazed partitioning, partition walls and a new ducted air conditioning system. We are also completing decoration works to the external of the building, and a complete new electrical installation by our sister company, Commercial Electrical.
The unique shape of the building gives us more of a challenge than usual for these kinds of projects, but we’re looking forward to the challenge with the project and getting stuck in.
